PURIM

The Feast of Purim or Feast of Lots is a two day feast that commemorates
The Lord delivering the nation of Israel from being destroyed Israel’s enemies.
He utilized Mordechai and his niece Esther to be intricate people in delivering
the nation of Israel. This feast is a two day feast which is usually kept in the
month of February or March.

Esther 9:18. "But the Jews that were at Shushan assembled together on the
thirteenth day thereof, and on the fourteenth day thereof, and the fifteenth day
". Which would be between the months of February or March when this feast
is commonly kept.

Esther 2:21-23, "In those days, while Mordecai sat in the king’s gate, two of
the king’s chamberlains...were wroth , and sought to lay hand on the king
Ahasaerus ( Mordechai was made aware of an assassination being planned
on King Ahasaerus life” ...And the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it
unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified the king thereof in Mordecai’s
name...And when inquisition was made of the matter, it was found out;
therefore they were both hanged on a tree: and it was written in the book of
the chronicles before the king". By Mordechai revealing this to Esther
discretely the Kings life was spared and the two men killed. Haman was
actually behind this plot; unknowingly to the King Ahaseurus. Initially
Mordechai was not rewarded by the King for saving his life. However the
matter was recorded by the scribes in Persia.

Esther 3: 1-6, "After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman...And
all the king’s servants,...bowed, and reverenced Haman....But Mordecai
bowed not, nor did him reverence...And when Haman saw that Mordecai
bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath...wherefore
Haman sought to destroy all the Jews". Hamans wrath was incited by
Mordechai because he would not bow to him. For this he sought to kill the
Israelites.

,Esther 9:24, "Because Haman...the enemy of all the Jews, had devised
against the Jews to destroy them, and had cast Pur, that is, the lot".

Apo Esther 16:10, "For Haman, a Macedonian,...being a stranger from the
Persian blood...Having by manifold and cunning deceits sought of us the

destruction, as well as Mordecai...For by these means he thought, finding us
destitute of friends, to have translated the kingdom of the Persians to the
Macedonians". Hamans wicked plot to destroy the Israelites was made
known to the King by Esther who risked being put to death by appearing
before the King without being summoned. In addition she revealed her
nationality and the intent of Haman wanting to kill the children of Israel.

Esther 7:3-7, "...for we are sold, and I and my people, to be destroyed, to be
slain, and to perish...Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther
the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do
so? And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman".
Haman was revealed to be working in league with the Macedonians (Greeks).
Again was an Edomite ( Greek/So Called White Man)

Esther 9:1, "Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar..." The word
Purim means lots, it makes reference to when Haman casted lots on what day
he would go out to destroy the Israelites. But the Israelite Mordecai, had
gained the favor of king Ahasuerus by realizing that Mordechai was never
rewarded for the treason the two assassins intended to do the king.
Esther 9:15-16, "For the Jews that were in Shushan gathered
themselves...and slew three hundred men...and slew of their foes seventy and
five thousand…”

Haman’s wicked plot was eventually uncovered by Esther revealing it to the
King. As a result the children of Israel were delivered from all the provinces
Israel resided at. Mordechai and Esther/ known as Queen Esther were
exhalted.

These feast days are to be observed.
